German Origami

Japanese origami was created by Buddhist  monks in the 6th century. After 1500 years I figured  it was time for an update.

So I invented German Origami.

German Origami is similar to Japanese origami because it involves paper and small animals.

But I roughly scrunch the paper instead of meticulously folding it. This gives a more lifelike or at least a more three-dimensional feel.

I call it German because I invented it and I can call it anything I want. Plus I’m of German ancestry.

I usually make dogs (or puppies or wiener dogs). I like to make dinosaurs out of the little paper napkin rings you find in affordably-priced restaurants.

If you want to be amused, check out my page at the Saatchi Art website.

The minimum price per item on the Saatchi site is $100. Then they threw in $25 for shipping. Nothing of mine has been purchased in over five years, except the one I bought myself at a deep discount (free).
